WOMEN PIONEERS AT TWENTYNINE PALMS VISITORS’ CENTER ART EXHIBITION

In honor of the 80th annual Pioneer Days celebration in Twentynine Palms, the theme of the art exhibition at the Twentynine Palms Visitor Center and Art Gallery is “Tough as Nails: Women Pioneers.” An opening reception is set for Friday, October 14, from 5:30 to 7:30, and will feature live music and refreshments in Bucklin Park, right next to the Twentynine Palms Visitors’ Center and Art Gallery, on the highway in downtown Twentynine Palms. Inside the gallery, local artists will display their depictions of pioneer women in various media. The exhibition will be on display through December 30.
