WOMEN CAUGHT SHOPLIFTING AT WALMART ACCUSED OF CONSPIRACY

Two women were arrested Friday, accused of conspiracy after they tried to steal more than $1200 worth of merchandise from Walmart. According to a Sheriff’s report, Amber Watson, 26, of Twentynine Palms, asked Tesla Murneeks, 21, of Yucca Valley, for a ride to Walmart. The women entered the store about 4 p.m. Friday, and placed multiple items in two shopping carts, and then left the store through the garden center about 4:45 p.m. without paying for more than $1,200 worth of merchandise in the carts. Store security called deputies, who arrested Tesla Murneeks for investigation of conspiracy, booked her into the Morongo Basin Jail, with her bail set at $25,000. Amber Watson was also arrested on suspicion of conspiracy, and for warrants for embezzlement and burglary, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, and is being held without bail.
