The theme this week at the Joshua Tree Branch Library Summer Reading Program is, “What Happens at Night.” On Tuesday, July 10, at 11 a.m., preschool and kindergarten chil¬dren are invited to bring a favorite doll or stuffed ani¬mal to share in the soothing, quiet stories and not so quiet activities and crafts. On Wednesday, July 11, at 11:30 a.m., Up All Night, presented by The Wildlife Company, showcases nocturnal animals from across the world in a fun and interactive program. This program will be repeated at 2 p.m. on Wednesday for junior high and high school students. Children and teens that need transportation to the library may show their San Bernardino County library card to MBTA drivers and ride to the library for free. For more information about the Summer Reading Program, call the Joshua Tree Branch Library at 760-366-8615.
