Who is the prominent woman you interviewed, and what did you learn from her?

“My prominent woman was Lindsay Gumming. She’s the owner of Cactus Flower Florist and Farms and through talking to her, I’ve been inspired to never give up on who I can be and chase my dreams no matter what. Talking to her has helped me regain faith in myself.”

What have you learned from your experience with Miss Yucca Valley?

“My experience with Miss Yucca Valley has helped me grow so much. I have branched out of my comfort zone and started a new sport. I have been much more on top of all of my assignments in school and I’ve regained trust and faith in myself to reach my goals. I definitely would recommend this experience to any up and coming junior girls. It’s so much fun and a great learning experience.”
