Now that Thanksgiving is over, Christmas is just around the corner. Food for Life will serve a Christmas meal Saturday, December 23, at Palms Baptist Church on Adobe Road, in Twentynine Palms from 1 to 4 p.m. In addition to the meal, there will be a clothing giveaway and a visit from Santa with toys for the kids. Volunteers are needed to help set up, cook, deliver, serve, and break down after the meal. If you’d like to volunteer call Teresa Brown at 562-324-9099.
