VIRTUAL CELEBRATION OF EARTH DAY

This year marks the 50th anniversary of Earth Day. Even though Yucca Valley has cancelled its annual Earth Day Fair at the community center, residents can still celebrate from home. Reporter Hilary Sloane says the Hi-Desert Nature Museum wants to know how you are celebrating Earth Day…

The Hi-Desert Nature Museum wants to know what are you doing in or around your home, or in your daily life to take care of our planet. Send them pictures and a short statement of your action– an essay that describes your plans and their consequences or a short video. The first 30 innovative, fascinating and thoughtful submissions have a chance to win a 50th Anniversary Earth Day t-shirt. Winning contributions may be shared on the Hi-Desert Nature Museum website or Facebook page. more information on how to enter is available below.
