SKY’S THE LIMIT OBSERVATORY AND NATURE CENTER HOSTS SIDEWALK ASTRNOMY STARGAZING EVENT

The “Sky’s the Limit” Observatory and Nature Center will host a sidewalk astronomy stargazing event tonight. Here’s reporter Andrew Dieleman with telescope in hand…
At night, the desert sky is lit by nearly innumerable celestial bodies. On Saturday, January 6, the “Sky’s the Limit” Observatory and Nature Center will host a star gazing event to celebrate these galaxies, star clusters, nebulas, constellations, and much more. This free public event begins at 5:45 p.m. and ends around 9 p.m. Guests may use the multiple telescopes provided, or you can bring your own. It is recommended that guests bring a chair and snacks, and to dress appropriately for our ever-changing desert weather. The Observatory is located at 9697 Utah Trail in Twentynine Palms. For more information, contact Steve Caron at 760-401-3004.
