VA ON THE MOVE MOBILE VET CENTER IN TWENTYNINE PALMS TOMORROW

VA on the Move, a mobile vet center from the Department of Veterans Affairs, is coming to Twentynine Palms. Reporter Dan Stork tells where and when, and what services will be offered…
On Tuesday, March 24, a Veterans Administration van will be parked in front of City Hall, 6136 Adobe Road, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Services will be offered for free, and no advance appointments are necessary. Services provided by VA on the Move will include Readjustment and Supportive Counseling for Veterans, Military Sexual Trauma Supportive Services, and information from Loma Linda VA Medical Services and Benefits, including Women Veterans Health Program. Also provided are free and confidential assistance and connections to services and benefits of the Department of Veterans Affairs, including Veterans Benefit Counseling, Cal Vet Benefits, as well as Employment Education Development Resources.
The mobile van is an outreach service sponsored by San Bernardino Vet Center, California Department of Veterans Affairs (Cal Vet), and VA Health Care.
