TWO TWENTYNINE PALMS WOMEN FOUND IN HOUSE BEING BURGLARIZED

Two Twentynine Palms women were arrested Saturday after they were found burglarizing a house. Deputies were called to the 6200 block of Cahuilla Avenue in Twentynine Palms about 12:45 a.m. by a neighbor who spotted lights on in a home where they owner was out of town. The deputy discovered that a window in the back of the house had been broken. When the deputy entered the house, two women, Brooke Nickell, 18, and Chloe Brown, 18, were found hiding inside. Near the front door were bags of items from the home that the women were intending to steal. Brooke Nickell and Chloe Brown were arrested for investigation of burglary, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with their bail set at $25,000 each.
