TWO TWENTYNINE PALMS MEN ARRESTED FOR BURGLARY

Two Twentynine Palms men were arrested Monday night, accused of burglary. According to a Sheriff’s report, deputies responded to the 5000 block of Adobe Road in Twentynine Palms just after 11 p.m. for a burglary. Deputies found that unknown suspects had forced entry into the Golden Barber. The owner was contacted, and showed the deputies video of the burglary. Evidence led deputies to the 4500 block of Adobe Road where they found David Bangs, 23, and Jon Roy, 39. Bangs is on parole for possession of stolen property, and both Bangs and Roy are classified as career criminals due to an extensive criminal history. Stolen property was located at the residence. David Bangs and Jon Roy were arrested on suspicion of burglary and booked into the Morongo Basin Jail. Bangs is being held without bail, and Roy’s bail is set at $25,000.
