The Sheriff’s Department is investigating the theft of two trailers from Johnson Valley. According to investigators, the owner of the trailers said that sometime between Friday and Tuesday, someone broke into a Conex box on property near Cole Road and Old Woman Springs Road where two trailers were being stored. One trailer is a 35-foot Jayco travel trailer; the other trailer is a generator trailer. Other miscellaneous items, including auto batteries and handguns were also stolen. Anyone with information should call the Sheriff’s Department at 760-366-4175.
