TWO POWER OUTAGES SATURDAY ABOARD TWENTYNINE PALMS MARINE BASE

There will be two separate power outages affecting the Combat Center on Saturday, July 21. The first outage, from 5 a.m. to approximately 8:30 a.m., will interrupt power to the entire Combat Center with the exception of the Ocotillo Heights housing area. The second outage, from 9 a.m. until approximately 3 p.m., will interrupt power to housing areas on the southeastern portion of the base. The housing areas to be affected are: Desert View, Joshua Heights, Sun Flower Terrace, Shadow Mountain, Condor Heights, and Marine Palms. Residents are reminded to keep refrigerator and freezer doors closed as much as possible to ensure that food does not spoil.
