Two organizations have teamed up to provide scholarships to children who have a parent who died during military service. The Johnny Mac Soldiers Fund has awarded a $1 million grant to the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation. Fallen Patriots seeks to identify and provide assistance to the estimated 20,000 children who have lost a parent serving in the military within the last 35 years.
