Two Landers men were arrested Thursday during the service of a search warrant in Landers. About 1 p.m.deputies went to the 2200 block of Tori Lane where they found James Shovey, 53, and Ethan Wichita, also 53. During the search, deputies found suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. James Shovey was arrested for investigation of possession of methamphetamine for sales, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $50,000. Ethan Wichita was arrested on an out-of-county misdemeanor drug warrant, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set at $120,000.
