The 29 Palms Art Gallery will hold an opening art reception Saturday October 7 for its new exhibition: Art Detours: Hi-Desert Highlights. The show presents the best of the gallery’s members. The reception is from 5 to 7 p.m. The exhibition will be on display through October 29. Gallery hours are Thursdays through Sundays from 11 to 3. If it’s the first weekend of the month, you’ll find everyone over at The Glass Outhouse for their art reception. The featured artists in October are Dan Redmon and Aileen Chan. There will be music, food and drink starting at 5 p.m. Saturday, October 7. The Glass Outhouse is located about 5 miles east of Twentynine Palms on the south side of Highway 62.
