A Twentynine Palms woman was arrested Friday night, accusing of hitting her boyfriend. Sheriff’s reports say Dawn Croom, 32, was drinking at a bar in the 72100 block of 29 Palms Highway. When her boyfriend arrived about 10:30 p.m., Croom began hitting him, at which time he left. Friends brought Croom to her boyfriend’s house in the 600 block of Sunrise, where they had another altercation when he tried to stop her from driving. After investigation, Dawn Croom was arrested for felony spouse abuse, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, with bail set at $50,000.
