Cathy Inscore’s son, Bobby, was killed in a DUI crash in May 1998, and she missed him terribly. “I prayed every night for my sweet Bobby to visit me.” Then five months later, her prayers were answered. “Then one night, I had the most fantastic dream ever. Bobby was there and a little girl with fiery red hair stood between us.” In her dream, which ended way too soon, Bobby called the red-haired girl “Autumn.” A few days later, Inscore’s husband Barry answered the phone and received the news that his daughter, Lisa, had just given birth to a little girl she had named Autumn. Inscore wondered if this could just be a coincidence. “At the hospital, they handed me a beautiful baby … and there was that fiery red hair. I … softly whispered, ‘We have already met.’” If you would like to read Cathy Inscore’s story about Bobby and Autumn, and 100 other inspirational short stories, the Chicken Soup for the Soul “Miraculous Messages from Heaven” is available at book stores and online.
