TWENTYNINE PALMS WOMAN RECOGNIZED BY UNITED METHODIST CHURCH

Twentynine Palms resident Sue McMahan was recognized October 22 by the Twentynine Palms United Methodist Women at the California Pacific United Methodist Women 44th Annual Celebration. She was honored for her mission work to women, children, and youth in the United States and around the world. Sue McMahan has been an active member of the United Methodist Women for 62 years. She has held several offices, and currently she is the chairperson of the committee on nominations. Sue is also very active in the community as a docent with the Twentynine Palms Historical Society and a liaison from the California Retired Teachers Association to the museum.
