Both the Twentynine Palms Water District and fire department meetings are tonight. Water begins at 6 p.m. and opens with public comments followed by a resolution to continue water availability assessments for the coming fiscal year with no change in rates. Selection of an audit firm and district investment funds will also likely be discussed tonight. And on the fire department agenda are reports from finance and the fire chief; there are no action items. It all happens at the District Office on the south side of Hatch Road in Twentynine Palms.
