A Twentynine Palms man was arrested Wednesday morning after he tried to pull his girlfriend out of her vehicle. According to a Sheriff’s report, Ethan Saleem, 21, was arguing with his girlfriend in the 6700 block of Palo Verde Avenue in Twentynine Palms about 11:30 Wednesday morning. The report states Saleem became angry, grabbed her by the shirt and arm and pulled her out of her car to prevent her from leaving. When his girlfriend finally did leave the scene, Saleem then allegedly kicked her car door, causing moderate damage. Ethan Saleem was arrested for felony spouse abuse, booked at the Morongo Basin Jail, with his bail set t $50,000.
