A roll-over crash in Twentynine Palms Monday morning sent a man to the hospital. About 8:41 a.m., a Nissan Sentra was traveling northbound on Adobe Road when, for unknown reasons, the middle-aged driver lost control, hit an embankment, and the car rolled over, landing on its side north of Sullivan Road. Firefighters had to use the Jaws of Life to cut through the roof supports, and peeled back the car’s roof to get to the driver and sole occupant of the car. A helicopter was called in to transport the victim to Desert Hospital in Palm Springs with a possible broken arm and other injuries.
