TWENTYNINE PALMS POST OFFICE DEDICATED TO MAC DUBE THIS MORNING

The Twentynine Palms post office is being dedicated today as the Colonel M.J. “Mac” Dube USMC Post Office Building. Congressman Paul Cook of Yucca Valley will speak at the official dedication ceremony this morning. Before his death last April, Dube served as a Marine for 38 years—earning four Purple Hearts, four Bronze Stars with Combat V, and a Silver Star-and served as chief of staff at the Marine Corps Air-Ground Combat Center before retiring. Dube also served as mayor of Twentynine Palms three times, and was a field representative for County Supervisor Bill Postmus.
