The Twentynine Palms Planning Commission meets tonight to consider modifying permitting requirements for duplex units. Specifically, the commission will hear public input regarding whether to allow vacation home rental permits under certain circumstances via a Conditional Use Permit. In addition, the Commission will discuss taxi service and special events signs in the city. Tonight’s meeting gets underway 5 p.m. in the Council Chambers on Adobe Road.
