TWENTYNINE PALMS PLANNING COMMISSION MEETS TONIGHT

The Twentynine Palms Planning Commission will meet at 5 p.m. tonight. Topics that will be discussed in the public hearing include a recommendation to the Planning Commission to modify the development code to allow a maximum height of 16 feet for detached garages and carports. The planning Commission will also address a request for a conditional use permit to place a caboose on a property at 3370 Utah Trail and a request for a Letter of Public Convenience and Necessity so that the Cactus bar, 5670 Adobe Rd, can sell beer and wine. The meeting will be held at Twentynine Palms City Hall, 6136 Adobe Road in Twentynine Palms.
