TWENTYNINE PALMS MAN SLICES ARM OPEN WHEN HE PUNCHES WINDOW

A Twentynine Palms man was injured early Sunday morning following a fight when he put his arm through a window. According to the Sheriff’s Department, Christopher Wyttenback, 24, went to a bar with a friend where they drank three pitchers of beer. Wyttenback became upset when he saw a female friend talking to another man at the bar, and he left on foot to the woman’s house in the 6000 block of Ocotillo Avenue in Twentynine Palms. The woman and the other friend went to her home, and the three of them started arguing, which turned into a fight about 2 a.m. During the fight, Wyttenback tried to hit his male friend, but missed, and his arm went through a window, slicing his arm and causing it to bleed heavily. When deputies arrived, Wyttenback was outside the home on his back and a tourniquet had been applied to stop the bleeding. Christopher Wyttenback was airlifted to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs.
