TWENTYNINE PALMS MAN ACCUSED OF THREATENING EX WITH KNIFE

A Twentynine Palms man was arrested Wednesday after his ex said he held a knife to her throat. Deputies were called to the 6300 block of Palmview Avenue in Twentynine Palms about 7:30 a.m Wednesday. The woman said Michael Williams, 28, held a knife to her throat and then fled the residence on foot. Deputies located Michael Williams at Tortoise Rock Casino where he was arrested for investigation of felony spouse abuse and booked into the Morongo Basin Jail with bail set at $50,000.
