TWENTYNINE PALMS MAN ACCUSED OF HAVING STOLEN GUNS AND DRUGS

A Twentynine Palms man was arrested, accused of selling drugs and being in possession of stolen guns. According to a Sheriff’s report, a deputy stopped a 2008 Kia near Mojave and Sunnyslope in Twentynine Palms about 1:40 a.m. Monday morning. Inside the car was Darrell Comminey, 37. During a consent search of the vehicle, the deputy located a stolen handgun. A search warrant was obtained, and deputies found drugs and more stolen guns. Darrell Comminey was arrested for investigation of possession of drugs for sales, and being a felon in possession of firearms. Comminey was booked at the Morongo Basin Jail with his bail set at $50,000.
