TWENTYNINE PALMS HIGH SCHOOL INTERACT THANKSGIVING FOOD DRIVE STARTS TODAY

The Rotary-sponsored Interact Club at Twentynine Palms High School believes no one should miss out on Thanksgiving dinner. Dan Stork tells how you can help the club help those in need…
The Twentynine Palms High School Interact Club has 500 turkeys and is looking for help in rounding out complete Thanksgiving meals for needy families in the City. Desired items include, but are not limited to: roll mix, stuffing, gravy mix, instant potatoes, sweet potatoes, assorted vegetables, pumpkin pie mix, boxed pie crust, and evaporated milk. $10 grocery cards that can be used for the purchase of miscellaneous items would also be appreciated. Donations can be dropped off at the High School by November 19. You can also call Lori Cosgriff, the Interact staff advisor at 367-9591 ext 46 to arrange to have your items picked up. Cash donations will help, too. Please make checks out to Twentynine Palms High School with Interact written in the memo section. If you or someone you know needs to have their name placed on the list of recipients, please call ReachOut Morongo Basin starting November 1 at 760-361-1410. Distribution of the baskets will take place November 23 at noon to 1 p.m. in the student parking lot at Twentynine Palms High School.
