On Friday November 8, the Twentynine Palms Wildcats clenched an outstanding victory over the Yucca Valley Trojans with a score of 21-0, we asked Coach Martinez for his take on the win and how they achieved it.
How do you feel about the win? “This was an outstanding win for the team. It was our ninth consecutive win. The kids did a great job and the staff was really excited about their efforts this season. An outstanding defense effort; we limited Yucca to less than 100 yards. Our defense played their best game of the season. And offensively our kids did a great job. The offensive line was outstanding, quality running made by our quarterback and our two tailbacks.” The Wildcats finished their season with a record of 4 and 7 tied for second in Deanza league and they reached the first round of the CIF playoffs.
