TWENTYNINE PALMS HIGH SCHOOL BOYS’ SOCCER PLACES FOURTH IN TOURNAMENT

The Twentynine Palms High School Wildcat boys’ soccer team traveled to Temecula’s Linfield Christian School Thursday, Friday and Saturday for a four-game tournament. Coach Nathan Niles said the Wildcats earned fourth place honors with a record of one win, one loss and two ties. In total, the Wildcats scored 10 goals and allowed 9. 
Selected to the First Team for the tournaments was junior midfielder Kevin Perez, who scored goals in three different games. In total, six different Wildcats scored goals on assists from six different players throughout the four games.
The Wildcats’ overall record is now two wins, one loss and three ties. Play continues at home Thursday against the Big Bear Bears.
