TWENTYNINE PALMS AND JOSHUA SPRINGS HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL IN HOME CIF PLAYOFFS TONIGHT

A first-round CIF-playoff game at home for the Twentynine Palms High School Wildcats football team tonight. Twentynine Palms High School will host Jurupa Hills in the first round of the Division 11 CIF playoffs. Jurupa Hills of Fontana finished in second place in the San Andreas league, and has a 6-4 record on the season. The two teams have only one common opponent on the season, as both teams defeated Indian Springs of San Bernardino in previous contests. Kickoff is at 7:00 tonight at Tom Nicoll stadium.
 
The Joshua Springs Christian School Lightning football team will be playing at home tonight, Friday, November 11, in the quarter-finals of the CIF-Southern Section championships against Hillcrest Christian School of Thousand Oaks. The Lightning eight-man team has a record of 9-0 overall, and 4-0 in league, and is ranked number 2 in the state; the Hillcrest Christian Saints are 7-2 overall, 2-1 in league, and are ranked 48th in the state. The game starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 general admission, $5 for students. Joshua Springs is located at 57372 Joshua Lane in Yucca Valley.
