Transition Joshua Tree is sponsoring a free hands-on workshop on how to collect and use rainwater. Participants will learn two ways to install rain gutters and water tanks for emergency water supplies and for irrigation. The workshop will be held Saturday, January 26, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Buzzard’s Roost, 63593 Walpi Drive in Joshua Tree. All workshop tools and supplies will be provided; participants should bring a hat, water, and a camera. For more information call Buck at 760-819-1299.
