Today (Friday, June 9) is the last day of the local cereal food drive. Sponsored by the Hi-Desert Medical Center, Hi-Desert Publishing Co., and Z107.7, local businesses are collecting boxes of cereal and monetary donations. All donations will benefit the Way Station in Joshua Tree and the FIND food bank in Indio, which partners with the Way Station. The businesses with the most donations will win a trophy and advertising packages. For more information, call 760-366-6322.
