Secretary of the Interior Sally Jewell was at Whitewater Preserve Thursday to celebrate three new California Desert National Monuments. Sand to Snow, Mojave Trails, and Castle Mountains designated by President Obama earlier this year. Jewell urged residents to come out and enjoy their new public lands.
