THREE ARRESTED AFTER A YUCCA VALLEY TRAFFIC STOP

Three men were arrested in Yucca Valley early Sunday morning following a traffic stop. According to a Sheriff’s report, a deputy stopped a vehicle about 12:30 a.m. Sunday morning near Bannock Trail and Santa Fe Trail. The driver, Thomas Chenoweth, 43 was found to be in possession of brass knuckles. His two passengers, Michael Holland, 58, and Garland Holloway, also 58, had outstanding warrants for their arrest. Thomas Chenoweth was arrested on suspicion of possession of a dangerous weapon, booked into the Morongo Basin Jail with his bail set at $25,000. Garland Holloway was arrested for an out-of-county $50,000 warrant for embezzlement or forgery; Michael Holland was arrested for his $25,000 warrant for multiple drugs charges. Garland Holloway and Michael Holland were both booked at the Morongo Basin Jail.
