THIEVES HIT TWENTYNINE PALMS HOMES AND VEHICLES

Thieves have hit numerous homes and vehicles in Twentynine Palms the past few days. On Saturday, the owners of a home in the 7600 block of El Paseo reported that burglars entered the home through a sliding glass door, and a home in the 73900 block of Eagle Lane was also burglarized. On Sunday, a vehicle was reported stolen from a business in the 73600 block of 29 Palms Highway. On Monday, owners of vehicles parked in the 6800 block of Eucalyptus Avenue, 6000 block of Mojave Avenue reported their vehicles had been burglarized, and a resident in the 5600 block of Copper Mountain Road also reported a burglary. Thieves hit six more vehicles and homes Monday night: in the 5500 block of Abronia Avenue, 73900 block of Desert Dunes Drive, 73800 block of Sunnyslope Drive, 72700 block of Granite Avenue, 6600 block of Juniper Avenue, and 6300 block of Adobe Road. The Sheriff’s Department reminds residents to lock their vehicles and their home’s doors and windows.
