THIEF STEALS $157 WORTH OF CANDY FROM TWENTYNINE PALMS STORE

Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a shoplifting at a store in Twentynine Palms in which the thief stole over a hundred dollars worth of candy. Deputies were called to the 5600 block of Adobe Road about 2:45 a.m. Thursday morning. The clerk said a man entered the Circle K store and walked out with $157.68 worth of candy. The suspect is identified as Hispanic, wearing tan shorts, boots, a baseball hat, gray or black hoodie, with a tattoo on his right calf.
