Tender Loving Christmas needs meat sponsors for the TLC Christmas Day event at the Yucca Valley Community Center. TLC feeds thousands of Morongo Basin residents on Christmas Day, and needs 1,200 pounds of turkey and ham. TLC must buy the turkeys and hams (due to health regulations, individual donations of meat can’t be accepted). The cost of the meat comprises roughly one-third of the cost of putting on the Christmas buffet. TLC is looking for meat sponsors. If you can donate $25, $50, or $100 toward the meat fund, call Mara Cantelo at 760-333-2413.
