TWO YUCCA VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL GIRL WRESTLERS IN STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS

Two wrestlers from the Yucca Valley High School girls’ team will be competing in the state championships later this month. Vanesa Contreras placed third, and Katherine Kennedy placed fifth at the CIF-state qualifier meet last weekend. The state championships will be held in Visalia February 26 and 27.
