VENDORS NEEDED FOR WOOF WALK

The Morongo Basin Humane Society, which runs the no-kill animal shelter in Joshua Tree, is seeking vendors for its 8th annual “Woof Walk” and Fair Saturday, March 28, at Pappy and Harriet’s. The fundraising day will include a dog walk, blessing of the animals, raffle items, live auction, vendor booths, food, pet contests, dogs available for adoption, and much more. The Morongo Basin Humane Society is seeking vendors for their seventh annual Woof Walk and fair. This will take place at Pappy and Harriet’s on Saturday, March 24. The fundraising day will include raffle items, live auction, vendor booths, food, dogs available for adoption and much more. Anyone interested in setting up a booth at this event should call 760-668-5255 or visit the website at mbhumanesociety.com.

WOOF WALK, PET FASHION SHOW IN YUCCA VALLEY

The sixth annual Woof Walk in the Morongo Basin Humane Society’s biggest fundraiser of the year. The event features raffles, door prizes, auctions, vendors, pet contests, and of course, a dog parade. Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Pappy and Harriet’s in Pioneertown. A blessing of the animals will start the woof walk at 10:30. Dogs from local rescues and shelters that will be available for adoption. Participation in the walk is $35, which includes lunch, but is free for those who raise $60 or more in pledges. Pledge forms are available at Petco, vet clinics, or online at mbhumanesociety.com. You don’t need a dog to participate. And following the Woof Walk, the Town of Yucca Valley Youth Commission is hosting a fashion show fundraiser for your pets, to benefit Relay for Life. Reporter Rebecca Havely has your invitation…
Bring your furry friend decked out in their most dazzling duds for the Pet Fashion Show Fundraiser! Awards will be given for Funniest, Most Creative, Most Glamorous, Cutest, Best Groomed, Best Group and Best of Show. The show takes place on Saturday, March 25 at the Yucca Valley Community Center with registration at 1:30 and the show at 2. Each entry is $10 at the door and all proceeds benefit Relay for Life.
