EARTHQUAKE SWARM HITS SALTON SEA AREA

The Salton Sea has been hit by more than 200 small earthquakes in the last day or so. The largest, a 4.2, hit Monday night, and nine of them registered at 3.0 or higher. The earthquakes were fairly localized, with most of them hitting Bombay Beach area.
