As suicide is a prevalent topic in recent news, CWIC, the Crisis Walk-in Center on Santa Fe Trail in Yucca Valley is a resource that adults and adolescents throughout the San Bernardino County can safely reach to for one-on-one confidential assistance and resources. Open 24/7, 365 days a year, and funded by San Bernardino County, clients with mental distress such as depression and anxiety are urged to visit. Counseling and simply speaking with someone is a major preventative measure in balancing suicidal distress for the better.
