Parents and students of La Contenta Middle School are invited to join orientation day on Friday, August 23. During orientation, students may purchase physical education uniforms, an ASB membership card, pre-pay for a yearbook, and obtain bus schedule information. The Morongo Basin Healthcare District mobile medical unit will be on site to offer immunizations and the school nurse will be available to receive T-dap or other shot record information. The event will be held from noon to 2 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room at La Contenta Middle School, 7050 La Contenta Road in Yucca Valley.
