STUDENT ARTISTS SOUGHT FOR SHOW AT 29 PALMS ART GALLERY

The 29 Palms Art Gallery is inviting art students to enter the Annual Students’ Art Show. Ribbons, cash and scholarships awards will be given for first, second and third place. Here’s reporter Tanisha Cureton with your invitation…
All art students in grades nine through 12, including home school, private school, and ICE participants, are eligible to enter the art show. Those students placing first and second will be invited to enter their work in the Annual Southern Region Youth Art Month competition in San Diego. A 12th grade student intending to attend Copper Mountain College in 2018-19 will be awarded a scholarship by the CMC Foundation. The show runs from January 11-28. It’ll be held at the 29 Palms Art Gallery. For more details contact Lori Rennie at 714-270-7098.
Art will be collected, Sunday, January 7, from 3 to 5p.m., and Monday, January 9 from 9 to 11:30 a.m. The opening reception will be held on Saturday, January 13, between 5 and 7 p.m. It’ll be held at the 29 Palms Art Gallery, 74055 Cottonwood Drive at the corner of National Park Drive.
