The next show at Gallery 62 in Joshua Tree opens Friday, February 2, and features the artwork of youth in grades kindergarten through eighth grade. The show, entitled Create Community through Art, is a judged show, and prizes will be awarded for first, second, and third place in three age groups. The opening reception is set for Saturday, February 10, from 6 to 8 p.m. The awards ceremony and closing reception is set for Sunday, February 25, from 1 to 3 p.m. Gallery hours are Fridays and Sundays from 1 to 3 p.m., and Saturdays from 9 to 3 p.m. The gallery is located at 60167 Highway 62, Suite H, in downtown Joshua Tree.
