Attention student artists: submissions are due today for the 29 Palms Art Gallery annual youth art show. The youth art show will be held Friday, July 31, through Sunday, August 23, at the 29 Palms Art Gallery. This is open for youth between the ages of 5 and 17. Bring in your original painting, drawing, photography, ceramics, mixed media and 3-dimensional sculptural works of art to the gallery between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Monday, July 27. All wall hanging art should be ready to hang with a wire attached to the back for hanging. Gallery staff will be on hand on the delivery date to assist with hanging preparation. The gallery will provide pedestals for 3-dimensional sculpture. The opening reception for the show will be held on Sunday, August 2, from 12 p.m. until 3 p.m. For more information, contact the 29 Palms Art Gallery at 760-367-7819.
