ST. JOSEPH’S PLAYERS ANNOUNCE 2016 SHOWS

The St. Joseph’s Players community theater of Yucca Valley announces its two show choices for their 2016 season. Reporter Rebecca Havely has all the details…
The St. Joseph’s Players first show choice for 2016 is “Broadway Bound.” Following “Brighton Beach Memoirs” and “Biloxi Blues,” this is the poignant and funny conclusion of Neil Simon’s semi-autobiographical Eugene trilogy. This show will run Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoons from May 14 through June 5.
The second production, “The Nerd,” is a comedy by Larry Shue. Willum, a young architect is visited by Rick, a fellow ex-GI whom he has never met, but who saved his life after he was wounded in Vietnam. Willum is delighted when Rick shows up unexpectedly. However, Rick’s nerdy manner become apparent as he overstays his welcome with a vengeance. “The Nerd” will run from Saturday, July 2 through Sunday July 23.
