A Yucca Valley man was arrested early Thursday morning, accusing of assaulting his wife. According to a Sheriff’s report, John Drake, 25, of the 7400 block of Bannock Trail, threw his wife to the ground and then stuck his fingers down her throat. After an investigation, John Drake was arrested on suspicion of felony spouse abuse, booked at the West Valley Detention Center with his bail set at $50,000.
