SPEECH SCREENING OFFERED FOR PRE-SCHOOLERS

The Morongo Unified School District is offering speech screening for preschool children, aged 3 to 5 years old. Speech screenings may be helpful if your child has a speech delay; is hard to understand; communicates using gestures only; or if your child uses only two to three words in a sentence. Appointments are available with a speech therapist between 1 and 4 p.m. on Monday, August 14, Friendly Hills Elementary School in Joshua Tree, or on Tuesday, August 15 from 9 to noon at the Morongo Unified School District office in Twentynine Palms.
