SOS RIDE NEEDS HELP TO TRANSPORT MARINES TO, FROM PALM SPRINGS AIRPORT

A non-profit organization that transports Marines to and from the Combat Center in Twentynine Palms and the Palm Springs airport needs help. Managing editor Tami Roleff has more information about SOS Ride…

SOS Ride, an all-volunteer organization that provides rides to Marines between the Combat Center in Twentynine Palms and the Palm Springs Airport, needs your help. Hundreds of Marines and sailors use the Palm Springs Airport each month. There are only three daily bus departures to bring them to and from the base; a taxi can cost more than $150. SOS Ride needs more volunteer drivers and/or donations for gas money for these Marines and sailors in transit. If you can you help, call 760-799-5488.
